To date, several inflammation-based biomarkers, such as C-reactive protein, albumin, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR), and Glasgow prognostic score (GPS), have been revealed as useful prognostic biomarkers in GC, colorectal cancer (CRC), breast cancer, and lung cancer [5–7]. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is breast cancer.
