We show here that the potent LRRK2 inhibitor MLi-2 can reverse mutant LRRK2-induced trafficking defects in cells, consistent with the beneficial effects of LRRK2 inhibitors in a number of models of neurodegeneration relevant for PD (Daher et al., 2015; Volpicelli-Daley et al., 2016; Yao et al., 2013). Here, LRRK2 is linked to Parkinson disease.
