Besides the four cancers mentioned in the above results section, patients harboring a high expression of ANXA6 also possess a poor prognosis in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), and mesothelioma (MESO) (Supplementary Figure S2), denoting that the overexpression of ANXA6 might serve as a crucial contributor to develop anti-tumor therapy strategy, especially for radioresistance.
