Our study revealed that in the NASH induced mice, Bax/Bcl2 ratio increased significantly compared with the control group (35.42±0.97 vs 1, P<0.001) while in allantoin treated mice it significantly dropped compared with the NASH group (7.55±0.005 vs 35.42±0.97, P<0.001) (Figure 9). This evidence concerns the gene BAX and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
