Of note, we focused on two (IFNα-2a and IFNβ) subtypes that are expressed during ZIKV infection in more relevant cell types, such as human-induced neuroprogenitor cells and the neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cell line [51], because these IFNs are likely part of the innate antiviral response to ZIKV.
