Due to the fact that in the performed analysis, only the peptide with the 292MIAAEAEK299 sequence was identified in the urine sediment sample, from women with PE, we decided to analyze the presence of this tryptic podocin fragment by LC-MS-MRM in the urine sediment samples from patients with diagnosed membranous nephropathy (MN), focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN), and IgA nephropathy (IgAN). This evidence concerns the gene NPHS2 and primary membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis.
