Univariate analysis: after Benjamini-Hochberg correction, the concentrations of nine cytokines (Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein 1 (MCP-1), also referred to as chemokine ligand 2 (CCL2), Interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-8, IL-1b, IL-5, chitinase 3-like 1 protein, osteocalcin, MMP-3 and basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF), also known as FGF2) were found to be significantly higher in the FF of patients with endometriosis compared to controls (Figure 2). The gene discussed is CHI3L1; the disease is endometriosis.
