As shown in Figure 4A, CCA1 and CCA2 accounted for 61.58% and 30.11% of the whole microbiota variation, respectively; and the correlation, significance, and contribution of different factors are listed in Figure 4B. The result showed that MUC2 expression and the infection rate were highly significantly correlated with the distribution of gut microbiota. This evidence concerns the gene MUC2 and infection.
