MALAT1, widely studied in various kinds of malignant tumor, is demonstrated to regulate proliferation and invasion of NPC cells; knocking down MALAT1 can inhibit EMT process with increased E-cadherin along with reduced N-cadherin and Vimentin; in-depth study reveals that the regulating roles of MALAT1 is through de-repressing Capn4 by sponging miR-124 107. This evidence concerns the gene CDH1 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
