Nakabayashi et al. reported that tumor growth factor-β knockout mice showed multiple lymphoproliferative disorders similar to those observed in the pseudolymphoma of Sjögren’s syndrome, and that upregulation of several inflammatory cytokine genes, interferon-γ, interleukin (IL)-1, IL-6, and IL-10, was observed in their salivary glands [52]. The gene discussed is IL10; the disease is lymphoproliferative syndrome.
