The levels of pYAP did not change in our study similar to the results demonstrated by Ito et al., where consistent phosphorylated YAP levels in FAT4 siRNA treated cells and control MCF-10A breast cancer cells was observed [22], in contrast, pYAP expression was lower in FAT4 siRNA treated endometrial cancer [18] suggesting the differences in mechanisms ruling these different cancers. Here, FAT4 is linked to endometrial cancer.
