GSK-3 blockade was determined to inhibit the proliferation of primary pancreatic cancer cells with KRAS mutations at G12D, G12V or G12C in mouse xenograft models as well as metastatic patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models made with PDAC cells isolated from patients who had progressed after chemo- or radiation therapies. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
