As the most abundant drivers of NSCLC tumorigenesis, mutations in tumor suppressor genes TP53, KEAP1, STK11, NF1 and in the oncogenes Kirsten Rat Sarcoma Viral Proto-Oncogene (K-RAS) and Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) were identified [3,5,6,7]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
