Basal-like breast cancer (BLBC) is a subgroup of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) that expresses high levels of certain proteins, such as keratins (CK5/6, CK14, CK17), epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), c-Kit, and vimentin.
