In line with the results obtained with brain homogenates, combining rAAV-αSYN expression with PMCA-amplified MSA and PD assemblies had an additive effect (62 ± 4% and 53 ± 6% respectively) unlike PMCA-amplified DLB and CTR assemblies (26 ± 5% and 14 ± 3%; Fig. 6e, f).
