To explore the potential involvement of ADAMTS-15 in prostate cancer, biopsies of Gleason grade 6–9 tumors were subjected to immunofluorescence with antibodies directed to ADAMTS-15 along with its potential substrate VCAN (GAG-β) (Figure 1A) or the product of VCAN cleavage, versikine (Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene VCAN and prostate carcinoma.
