HNRNPA2B1 from the A/B subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs), was identified as a biomarker for early diagnosis of lung cancer (Sueoka et al., 2001) since it was overexpressed in NSCLC (Sueoka et al., 1999). This evidence concerns the gene HNRNPA2B1 and lung carcinoma.
