The identification of actionable driver mutations; activating epithelial growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations, anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) fusion genes and c‐ROS oncogene 1 (ROS1) fusion genes has opened up new treatment for advanced NSCLC patients harboring those mutations.4, 5.
