In the multivariate analysis, older age (hazard ratio [HR], 1.585; 95% CI, 1.038-2.42; p = 0.033), AFP > 15 ng/mL (HR, 3; 95% CI, 2.049-4.392; p < 0.001), DM (HR, 1.802; 95% CI, 1.144-2.838; p = 0.011), thrombocytopenia (HR, 1.85; 95% CI, 1.176-2.911; p = 0.008), liver cirrhosis (HR, 2.267; 95% CI, 1.504-3.417; p < 0.001), and ALBI grade II/III at 1 year post-operation (HR, 3.0; 95% CI, 2.049-4.392; p < 0.001) remained independent predictive factors for RFS. This evidence concerns the gene AFP and cirrhosis of liver.
