Importantly, Krt16, a marker of hyperproliferation of keratinocytes in psoriasis (Leigh et al, 1995) did not belong to the top 30 up-regulated genes but was still up-regulated in an IL-36–dependent, KC36-independent manner in Aldara-treated ears at d7 (Fig S9C and Table S1). Here, KRT16 is linked to psoriasis.
