It has been proved that miR-145 (Wen et al. 2014), miR-126 (Ryu et al. 2011) and miR-96 (Jeong et al. 2013) cause impaired insulin signaling and insulin resistance by targeting Insulin Receptor Substrates 1 and miR-152 (Wang et al. 2016), miR-20a-5p (Fang et al. 2016) and miR-19a (Dou et al. 2015) regulates hepatic glycogen synthesis by targeting Phosphatase and Tensin Homolog. This evidence concerns the gene INS and Insulin resistance.
