Based on our previous data, we choose to use Rapatar at the dose of 25 mg/kg (corresponds to 0.5 mg/kg of rapamycin), which was shown to delay carcinogenesis in the tumor-prone p53–/– mice [32] and even a lower one (5 mg/kg; corresponds to 0.1 mg/kg of rapamycin). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and neoplasm.
