Higher BMI at both ages 9 (OR = 1.27; 95 % C.I. 1.10−1.48) and 13 (OR = 1.23; 95 % C.I. 1.09−1.38) years was associated with depression with raised CRP at age 18 years (See Table 5). The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is major depressive disorder.
