The SST5 expression level in primary tumor tissues was higher than that in normal tissues in the following cancer subtypes: rectal adenocarcinoma (READ), CHOL, colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), cervical and endocervical cancer (CESC), LUSC, BRCA, LIHC, and LUAD (Fig. 1a–e). This evidence concerns the gene SSTR5 and rectum adenocarcinoma.
