Furthermore, LY294002 (a PI3K signaling inhibitor) was used to inhibit the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway and the results revealed that DDX11 silencing could further enhance the inhibitory effect of LY294002 while DDX11 overexpression could reverse the inhibitory effect of LY294002 in HCC cells (Fig. 6e, f).
