EEF1A2 and peptic ulcer disease: From our in-cell ELISA-based high throughput drug screen that contained 262 FDA-approved drugs, we identified 11 drugs that activated both eEF1A2 and utrophin A. We noted that some of these drugs have common functions such as anti-diabetic, anti-peptic ulcer, cholesterol-lowering and beta-adrenergic agents.
