AR and triple-negative breast carcinoma: Studies have found that androgen receptor (AR) is related to the occurrence, development, recurrence, metastasis, and prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer, and AR signaling pathway plays an important role in the occurrence and development of TNBC.[1–3] More and more experts and scholars have noticed that AR may be a new therapeutic target for patients with breast cancer, especially for patients with ER–/PR–/AR+ subtype,[4,5] and inhibition of AR pathway may be effective for the treatment of TNBC.
