Functional enrichment analysis of the DEGs based on the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes (KEGG) discovered that most of the genes altered in A459‐IR cells were associated with proteoglycans in cancer, cytokine–cytokine receptor interaction, PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, focal adhesion, ECM receptors, Rap1 signaling pathway, regulation of actin cytoskeleton, and ubiquitin‐mediated proteolysis. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and cancer.
