BDNF and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease: For the 532-gene overlap, the use of KEGG resulted in 26 enriched gene sets (FDR-corrected p –value < 0.05), including “Alzheimer’s disease,” “long-term depression,” “neurotrophin signaling pathway,” and “neuroactive ligand receptor interaction,” as well as gene sets related to metabolism, cellular processes, signal transduction, organismal systems (immune, endocrine, excretory, and sensory systems) and cancers, and cardiovascular diseases (see Table 2 and Supplementary Table 5 in Supplementary Material 1, for details).
