Qian et al.14 reported that although some cells from acute lymphoblastic leukemia and chronic myelogenous leukemia patients expressed various levels of CAR, all 18 samples from AML patients showed no CAR expression.25 Here we found that most primary leukemia cells obtained from AML patients expressed moderate levels of TRAIL-related receptors but did not express adenovirus receptors. This evidence concerns the gene CXADR and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
