Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the TNFAIP3 locus have been associated to autoimmune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematous (SLE) [7], rheumatoid arthritis (RA) [7,8], psoriasis [9], type one diabetes [10], coeliac disease [10] and multiple sclerosis (MS) [11]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFAIP3 and myeloid sarcoma.
