MAPK9 and ovarian carcinoma: Yang et al. [44] found that the E3 ligase TRIM52 (the tripartite motif 52) increased the expression of IKKβ and IKBα and promoted NF-κB subunit p65 nuclear translocation to activate the transcription of downstream MAPK9 (mitogen-activated protein kinase 9), BCL2 (B-cell lymphoma 2), CXCL8 (C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 8) and TNF (tumor necrosis factor) genes in SKOV3 and Caov3 ovarian cancer cells.
