Yet, OAS2, OAS3, and OASL may be tightly linked to SLE pathogenesis among these immune-related genes for the following reasons: 1) they are up-regulated in all CD4+ T cells, CD19+ B cells, and CD33+ myeloid cells in SLE patients and 2) they participate in various immune functions, especially considering the response to IFN. Here, CD4 is linked to systemic lupus erythematosus.
