The present data indicate that OGR1 represents a double‐edged sword; for instance, in prostate cancer, OGR1 has been shown to act as a metastasis‐suppressing gene,14 and high expression of OGR1 effectively increased MCF7 breast cancer cell apoptosis and inhibited MCF7 cell growth and proliferation,15 while other scientists have revealed that OGR1 can promote prostate cancer outgrowth.16 More studies are needed to illuminate the role of OGR1 in immune cells and cancer cells. Here, GPR68 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
