On the contrary, high levels of expression of CDKN1C [P < 0.01 and FOS (P < 0.01)] were significantly related to longer survival in patients with NSCLC; these findings illustrate elevated NMU and GTSE1 countenance and reduced expression of CDKN1C and FOS can be utilized as markers of poor prognosis of lung cancer as shown in Figure 7.
