An additional kinase gene rearranged in KRAS wild type tumors is NTRK: O’Reilly EM [37] showed that one metastatic patient, whose tumor was CTRC-NTRK1 rearranged, received substantial benefit from tropomyosin receptor kinase (TRK) inhibitor larotrectinib, suggesting once more that these KRAS wilt type patients should be identified absolutely, because they could greatly benefit from targeted therapeutic approaches. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and neoplasm.
