LEP and gestational diabetes: When evaluating leptin as a continuous variable, as there was no evidence of non‐linearity using splines, there were no differences in risks of any pregnancy loss, clinical pregnancy loss, or PTD; however, an association with GDM (OR 2.92, 95% CI, 1.58‐5.40 per log unit increase of leptin) and pre‐eclampsia (RR 1.39, 95% CI, 1.01‐1.90 per log unit increase of leptin) was still observed in adjusted models, and there was no evidence of non‐linearity.
