Multiple logistic regression analysis was applied to assess the usefulness of cystatin C as a diagnostic marker for the presence of multivessel disease after adjusting for conventional CAD risk factors, including age, sex, BMI, smoking status, hypertension, TC, LDL-c, HDL-c, TGs, SBP, DBP, fibrinogen, SCr, FPG, eGFR and cystatin C. Before Multiple logistic regression analysis, we performed collinearity diagnosis, and the VIF value of all our variables was less than 3.0. This evidence concerns the gene CST3 and hypertensive disorder.
