Given that the samples in this study included several challenging cases and encompassed a range of cut-offs (selected to provide examples of the full range of PD-L1 expression observed in patients with NSCLC) and sample types, representative of a real-life clinical setting, these findings concur well with the inter-reader concordance rates and tests of reproducibility that have been reported as achievable for PD-L1 determination [8–10]. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
