WNT family member 1 (WNT1) has been identified as a target of miRNA-34a (miR-34a) [15], and it has been found that miR-34a can affect colon cancer progression [16] and inhibit breast cancer proliferation [17] via inactivation of the WNT/β-catenin pathway. Here, WNT1 is linked to colonic neoplasm.
