The colorectal cancer-derived exosomal miR-25-3p can down-regulate KLF2 and KLF4, and KLF2 affects the tube formation ability of HUVECs through the VEGFR2/p-Erk/p-Akt pathway while KLF4 activates ZO-1/Occludin/Claudin5 pathway to affect the growth of the aortic rings, which in turn changes the vascular microenvironment [130, 131].
