The analysis revealed that the risk of malnutrition increased with a higher number of comorbidities, female sex, cognitive impairment, and inflammation measured by a higher concentration of IL-8, logsTNFRII, and OPG; the risk of malnutrition was negatively associated with Il-18 level (Tables 3, 4, 5, and 6). This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF11B and nutritional deficiency disease.
