To test whether TMV vaccine inhibits tumor growth by increasing T cell infiltration, we inoculated mice with SCC VII tumor cells in Matrigel (Corning Inc., Tewksbury, MA, USA) s.c. and then administered TMV vaccine s.c. as shown in Figure 3A. The data show that TMV vaccine significantly increases the percentage of CD4+ T cell within the tumor, and, interestingly, no difference was observed in the percentage of CD8+ T cells (Figure 3B,C). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and neoplasm.
