Finally, in pancreatic cancer, Cohen et al. have shown that the analysis of KRAS gene mutations, using ctDNA, had greater diagnostic power than any single marker as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA); carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9); cancer antigen 125 (CA125) but it’s not yet a reality in clinical practice [77].
