Interestingly, ELMO family members such as ELMO1 and ELMO3 have been implicated in a variety of malignant cancers, such as glioma, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and non-small-cell lung carcinoma (Fan et al., 2015; Jarzynka et al., 2007; Jiang et al., 2011; Peng et al., 2016; Zhang et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene ELMO1 and glioma.
