Previously, Xia and colleagues reported that decreased miR-128 levels significantly suppressed the inflammatory response of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and alleviates its progression by inhibiting the activity of the NF-κB pathway, a phenomenon that is mediated by tumor necrosis factor-α-induced protein 3 (TNFAIP3) 15. Here, TNFAIP3 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
