The sarcoma-like components in the mural nodules were strongly positive for vimentin (Fig. 3d), focally positive for CK (Fig. 3e), CK7, CD10, and SMA, negative for CEA, Cam5.2, CK5/6, p63, CDX2, CK20 and EMA, a wild-type p53 staining, and a high Ki67 index(~ 50%) (Fig. 3f). The gene discussed is VIM; the disease is sarcoma.
