Herein, we demonstrate that the AMTs 1–8 exhibit anti-inflammatory activities through the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β), the protein expressions of COX-2 and iNOS in the LPS-stimulated THP-1 human macrophages, as well as that the AMTs 1–8 possess selective anticancer activity against human lung cancer cells A549 by inducing cell cycle arrest.
