Herein, we demonstrate that the AMTs 1–8 exhibit anti-inflammatory activities through the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β), the protein expressions of COX-2 and iNOS in the LPS-stimulated THP-1 human macrophages, as well as that the AMTs 1–8 possess selective anticancer activity against human lung cancer cells A549 by inducing cell cycle arrest. This evidence concerns the gene NOS2 and lung carcinoma.
