We first tested the possibility that hnRNP A1 regulates alternative splicing of Tau exon 10 with lentivirus-mediated hnRNP A1-targeting shRNA treatment in SH-SY5Y cells, with human neuroblastoma cells, or as a control, non-silencing shRNA treatment followed by RT-PCR of Tau exon 10 alternative splicing. The gene discussed is MAPT; the disease is neuroblastoma.
