It is estimated that more than 80% of patients with pistachio allergy have cross-reactivity to other nuts, such as peanuts, walnuts, chestnuts, almonds, pine nuts and specially cashew, given the identity between Pis v 1 and Pis v 2 sequences with Ana o 3 and Ana o 2 (64% and 48% respectively) [6].
